13WHA Course Description Recommended Prior LearningSuccessful completion of NCEA Level 2 Sculpting Whakairo is recommended.
This course is for students who are interested in Māori Culture and Whakairo. Students will learn about Tikanga, Kowhaiwhai and Whakairo, and will research and experiment with different techniques and materials and design and make their own Whakairo.
This course is for students who are interested in Māoridom.
