12TOU Course DescriptionDestination Aotearoa introduces students to the world of the tourism industry and New Zealand as a world tourism destination. Students will learn valuable skills such as understanding tourism as a national business, how people work in different roles within the tourism industry and discovering the needs of tourists in various contexts.
By taking Level 2 & 3 Tourism students are able to achieve the New Zealand Certificate in Tourism (52 credits). This is a course which will set students up for success in Level 3 Tourism and for future roles within the tourism and services industry.
