Waka Huia

Students will undertake research about Waka Huia (traditional Māori treasure containers) and Taonga (treasured possessions) in Aotearoa and apply this new knowledge to similar objects in their own culture to create original art that depicts their own personal history. They will also design and produce backdrops for a Year 11 Performing Arts production.
