Trades Experience

Course Description

The course consists of BCT, Engineering, DVC, and Gateway Work Experience. The aim is to allow students to experience different trades before they commit to one in particular. They will do practical projects such as residential fence and non-consent building, while also completing the Level 2 BConstructive theory workbooks and Competenz engineering workbooks. There is a focus on safety, tool use and care, calculating materials, and excellent workshop processes throughout the year.

Please note, this course will take up four timetable lines, so you will only be able to choose two more courses if you select this course.
