Sculpting Whakairo
Course Description
This course is for students who are interested in Māori Culture and Whakairo. Students will learn about Tikanga, Kowhaiwhai and Whakairo, and will research and experiment with different techniques and materials.
This course is for students who are interested in Māoridom or Sculpture. Successful completion of NCEA Level 1 Māori Cultural Studies is recommended if you want to focus on Māoridom and Whakairo.
