12 Photography
Course Description
This course is for students who are leaning towards a career in the creative industries and would like more time developing skills in Visual Arts. This course will be student-led with students able to choose from a variety of media and themes to develop a body of work.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
$60 class fee for photography materials.
$80 stationery package for each student.
Students will need to pay for their own photo printing at Warehouse Stationery for their final boards.
Pathway
Career pathways in photography include becoming a:
Professional photographer in areas such as portrait, fashion, commercial, wedding, wildlife, or sports photography.
Other roles include photojournalist, freelance photographer, photo editor, studio manager, fine art photographer, and photography teacher.
Additional opportunities exist in fields like stock photography, forensic photography, product photography, and digital content creation.
