Course Description
This course is for those students who are leaning towards a career in the creative industries and would like to spend more time developing skills in Visual Arts. The course will be student-led with students able to choose from a variety of media and themes to develop a body of work.
Recommended Prior Learning
Year 11 Art would be helpful. Talk to the Art teacher if you have any questions!
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
$50 for class fee for materials.
$130 for students' own stationery.

Career pathways include:
Professional fine artist, illustrator, art teacher, gallery curator, art therapist, muralist, or art director.
Opportunities include working in fields like:
Set design, graphic design, art restoration, and art consultancy, as well as selling original artwork or prints, participating in art exhibitions, and pursuing public or private commissions.
